There are many easy ways to protect your account on eBay:

• When you sign in, clear the Keep me signed in check box if you're using a public or shared computer.

• Don't share your password with others. Protect it. Remember: eBay will never ask for your password.

• Choose a strong password and change it often.

• Create a unique password by using a combination of letters and numbers that aren't easily guessed.

• Avoid using the same password for other accounts.

• Use caution when someone asks for sensitive information through email. If you get an email requesting personal information and you're unsure whether eBay actually sent it, check your Messages inbox in My eBay. If the email isn't there, it's fake. Don't click any links or enter information. Instead, forward the email to spoof@ebay.com
