If you're suspicious about an email that claims to be from eBay, sign into My eBay and click the Messages tab. If you don't see the same message there, the email is fake. To report a fake email, forward it as an attachment to cars@ebay.com.
If you suspect that someone knows your username and password, change your account information and take steps to secure your account. If you think that someone used your account without your permission, please contact us immediately.
Concerned about a fraudulent listing? At the bottom of every listing you will find a link saying "Report this item". That takes you to a form you need to fill in to tell us why you are reporting. This includes counterfeit or stolen items, or other suspected fraud.
Need to resolve an issue with a buyer or seller? If you've already attempted to contact the member but were unable to resolve the problem, you can open a case at the resolution center.
